Admission Requirements
To enroll in any Worsham College campus program, a student must have a minimum of twelve (12) college credits.
Associate of Applied Science Degree
For the AAS degree program, an applicant must have taken 12 college credits from a regionally accredited college and achieved a 2.0 or better GPA. The required courses are:
- English 101
- English 102
- Biology (introductory course, no lab required)
- Humanities
Diploma of Mortuary Science
Applicants who already have a college degree, but are lacking one of the courses listed above are encouraged to pursue the Diploma, which does not require any specific courses. Both programs are accredited and share an identical curriculum, with the only substantial difference being this admission requirement.
Applying to Our Campus Programs
In addition to completing the application for admission, all applicants must also provide:
- Sealed High School transcripts or equivalent
- Sealed college transcripts
- Two letters of recommendation from non-family members (these may also be submitted in the Admissions Application)
- Completed health certificate
Getting Licensed in Your State
States may require the completion of specific educational requirements to obtain licensure. These requirements may differ depending on the jurisdiction, and do not affect an applicant’s acceptance into Worsham College.
